Our Mission

To feed the needy.

About God's Pantry

God's Pantry exists to extend a helping hand, to the needy, by providing food to anyone who is facing circumstances beyond their control. The pantry serves all people, with respect and compassion, allowing them to maintain their self-esteem and confidentiality during a difficult time in their life. We make a difference one person or family at a time. The pantry is a vocal advocate for the hungry and displaced. God's Pantry does not require anyone to complete a lengthy application process, and there is not a waiting period.

Our Story

God's Pantry is a faith-based, not-for profit organization that was established in 1997, and was restructured with new management and board of directors in 2014. It is designated as a 501(C)(3). We have an open-door policy, have never run out of food and never charge for any of our services. Our volunteers distribute tens-of-thousands of pounds of donated food each month.

Thanking Our Volunteers

Gods Pantry is blessed with many willing helpful hands to help feed the needy and we could not function without them. They are the mainstay of God’s Pantry.

Volunteers who donate their time to help greet clients, sort and stock inventory, distribute the boxes and help clients carry items to the car.

Volunteers who make cash donations regularly to pay for our expenses such as the rent and utilities.

Religious groups conducting food drives to stock our shelves and deliver the much needed donations to us.

Organizations like the City of Plano who allow us the opportunity to apply for grants to support additional fresh produce and dairy.

Thank You!
